Just want to know how many accounts are not yet showing up activated?
There seems to be a bit of glich somewhere when I approve accounts for members.
Hawke, do you know what's going on here? If any of my admins know what the problem may be, go ahead and take a stab at it.
Thanks everyone.

It may be that they aren't getting their Proboards activation key.
This is taken directly from the Proboards Support board: I'm not getting my activation key in my email! If you use AOL, they tend to block lots of mail that should be allowed through. If you can not get your key with AOL, we suggest you use an alternate email account with a different provider (such as hotmail, yahoo, gmail, etc).
My activation key doesn't work! If you submitted a request for an activation key more than once, then a new key was generated which voided your old one. You will have to wait for your new key to arrive. Submitting extra requests for keys only slows down the process.
"I don't get notification/registration e-mails!"
Most people experience this problem with Hotmail. Check your junkmail bin. Sometimes they are redirected through the filter.
OR
If you are an admin of your board make sure that your current listed e-mail is correct.
Update The newest versions of AOL have the "advanced SPAM blockers" and may make it impossible for Proboards to contact you. Admins may have to manually register members who expierience this problem. Or we recommend that these people create temporary free e-mails (ie. hotmail.com).
Because i am not sure if this is a problem or not,
1) Check any spam or junk boxes as ProBoards sometimes is viewed as this. 2) Add the following to a "Contacts List" or "Safe List" (so that it will clear spam filters):
correspondence@mail1.proboards.com correspondence@mail2.proboards.com correspondence@mail3.proboards.com correspondence@mail4.proboards.com correspondence@mail5.proboards.com correspondence@mail6.proboards.com correspondence@mail7.proboards.com correspondence@mail8.proboards.com correspondence@mail9.proboards.com correspondence@mail10.proboards.com

Ok! So, I am able to update my profile somewhat, but my webpage info won't take. And my account still says it is not activated. But I can post and put in test and an avatar on my profile. Weird, huh?
I have Yahoo mail and never got an activation number email. I am stumped.

Did you look in your spam bin?
If you didn't get an activation key, re-request one. I think it's in your profile or on an "activate my account" screen there-abouts.. If not I'll have to do a bit of research and look into it.

Ok! That did it! Thanks, Hawke.
The activation code email went straight to my Inbox, so I don't know what happened to the first one I never got (I did check my Spam and it wasn't there).
Still can't put in website info on my profile though. I was just putting my Myspace page so the link would show up on my profile here, but nothing. Hmmm.

Big hug to you Scott for getting onto this problem which seems to be happening to many of our members(?) I have AOL(AIM) and got my registration email promptly after setting up here to activate my own account. Do you think I should change that little thingy about where it's set for me to manually approve each member that registers? Wait, let me just read what else you posted about Proboards...be back in a flash!

Yeah. I'm not sweating it. It's only a Myspace link. LOL I can always just put it in my signature or something.
Thanks for the help!
