I'd like to make one, a Colonial Warrior's jacket, but I'd like it in forest green like the one Richard Hatch wears in The Second Coming.

Doesn't he wear a red combat jacket too? I thought I have seen him on one for pic from TSC?
I get a feeling red is his favourite colour?

I'm piecing mine together bit by bit. I've got the boots, gun belt, blaster, and jacket squared away. I've commissioned the tunic and pants and hopefully we'll all get a pattern out of that one!

What did you end up getting for boots? I can't wait to see you in your uniform! Or are you making the dress?

I bought a pair of high heeled black boots, (not stiletos of course..lol) but very much like a pair that the female warriors would wear. Take a look at Sheba's boots next time your watching an ep with her in it. I paid $50 cubits for them, on 50% off from the original price! I don't have a proper uniform, but just a jacket i bought one time that reminded me a bit of the colonial jacket. It was actually called a military jacket! It is a light fawn colour, with the right kind of collar ,where i have pinned my Galactica collar pins I got from ebay(Katarra), over a yahren ago. And I just finished hand embroidering a Callisto patch for the shoulder! Even though my fellow Callisto friend is sending me one of these Callisto patches, I wanted to try my hand at making one. It turned out rather well! My mother has taught me hand embroidery , so it comes in handy! LOL! I still have not made my Serina dress. And it will be too cold in Sydney anyway for such an off the shoulder dress! I will make it one day though!

Good news is we should have the patterns done very soon for both male and female warrior uniforms! Thanks to some very generous fans we have been able to reference both screen used versions in person!
After that we'll need some civilian patterns.
Chris Pappas had Cassiopeia's red dress up for sale a while back. Amazing!

That sounds terrific, would love a pattern for the female warrior's uniform! I have taken off the image of Serina's dress from Chris Pappas site to refer to it when I finally make it!
No pattern, just image reference and much of my other's sewing expertise to assist me! LOL. I saw Cassiopeia's dress there on CP's site too, but didn't know it went up for sale. I just love the civilian clothes!

This is the dress of Miranda's that I refer to as her Cassiopeia dress, or Battlestar Galactica dress, because it's very similar to Cassie's.

I want to try to make a pink dress like the one Athena wore in Saga of a Starworld. I'm not sure if I posted this already...
